Certainly, the Skins can use the extra cap dollars right now as this will likely be used to release Lloyd with, but the trade off is $1 million more guarenteed to Jansen in each of the next 3 seasons (on top of the 2.25 million we were already giving him), and at least one more year of not being able to get away from him.
I guess were were going to handcuff ourselves somewhere, but I'm not sure that this was the right contract to do it with. |
Yeah I agree with it, primarily because I still think Jansen is a stud. People are quick to rag on him, but I don't see the logic.
