The Rams is perfect.
The Cardinals, Jets and Patriots are not.
The Rams since the mid-70's had pretty standard vinyl numbers. So replicators had little problem customizing jerseys for fans.
With very few exceptions, NFL jersey until the last 10-15 years, used (as stated above) screened numbers. To screen a number onto a jersey is a far more complicated process, thus retail suppliers simply chose to use pre-cut vinyl.
They obviously have come up with a process to do screening now, with the "Customized" jerseys available on NFL.com. The irony is, no one uses screen numbers anymore, so they are just as outdated. |
