For the NFL overall I think it would be bad. In our little corner of the world though, in the NFC East, it would be fine. The Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, and Eagles are all large market teams and would be capable of competing with one another financially. The division would be a perennial powerhouse and constantly very competitive.
But the division could be a perennial powerhouse under a salary cap too. It's a horrible thing for the NFL overall, IMO. |
