| Re: Black Sean Taylor Jersey and memorial patch I just don’t understand why even from the most direct sources (Redskins.com, NFL.com) “authentic” jerseys have to be technically inaccurate. I have yet to see ANY non-game used items that had the sleeve numbers correct (wider as opposed to taller on any player other than the OL or DL) and accurate lettering for the name on the back (in this case, thinner than wider).
I’m not talking about the cut of the jerseys, although any jersey other than a Mark Brunell, Todd Collins or Jason Campbell that don’t have the knit-cuffed STRIPES is also inaccurate. They have to cut the shirt to fit us fatsos, but I cannot understand why the other issues cannot be address.
The last jersey I purchased is a 2000 Brad Johnson, because that was exact (albeit screened numbers and vinyl letters). |
