Haven't heard that yet, but I've always been impressed with the info Scheftner has been able to dig up. If anything JLC could learn a thing or two, and the thing is on top of that Scheftner has to cover all 32 teams. However I think you were right about JLC's source leaving after Gibbs, personally I think that the source was originally Earnest Byner.
I mean if you look at the facts, As long as Byner was there JLC was able to post a good amount of info. He was also on top of the coaching search while Byner was still in the fold. Then as soon as the coaching search ends JLC's only info is how the Skins have mismanaged the salary cap and trying to give Vinny a nickname, which to me makes him look like an idiot. Plus JLC has been pretty vocal about the team letting go of Byner, which on surface was because it looked unfair since Byner did a good job and wanted to be here but between the lines it might have been because JLC lost his main source.
It also might be the reason Snyder was so insistent on getting rid of Byner despite Byner being a good running back coach. Personally I don't like the actions taken by either side (Snyder's and JLC's) but right now JLC looks like the fool since we see his post on a regular basis.
Anyway hoping for a way to get the Rams to trade up to 21 but I can't think of anything right now.
