Lots of people charged with crimes are innocent of the charges. Even the ones who are guilty deserve bail - - only if the crime they are charged with is not heinous.
People charged with murder - and kidnapping and rape and child molestation and a few other violent atrocities - should NOT be out roaming around on bail. If they are innocent, they can go to trial in a matter of weeks and be free forever.
Glad this guy will not be on the streets pending trial...
