The thing I don't understand is there has been no indication that Barber will be the full time RB. Felix Jones has blazing fast vertical speed and is a home run threat every time he gets the ball. Not many people thought Payton would last 5 years , " he never avoids contact " , too small too run that hard , never runs out of bounds , ect. He only retired as the NFL's all time leading rusher .If Barber can avoid taking a shot to his knee , he could be a damn good back for years ,,,, as long as he is in D , I hope he wears down in December each year . No , I'am NOT saying Barber is ever going to be Payton , he just happens to run " angry " as Payton did .
