MINOR SURGERY FOR SAMUELS

A couple members of PFT Planet have reported that they spotted Redskins left tackle Chris Samuels entering a D.C.-area hospital this week, so we put on our “real journalist” fedora (we even stuck in the ribbon a big card that says “PRESS”) and started to do some sleuthing.
We’ve learned, via a league source, that Samuels had surgery on Monday to clean out some loose particles in his elbow.
He’s expected to resume lifting weights next week.
Now, excuse me while I go clear a spot on the mantle for the Pulitzer.
