Normally I'd say no, but we have a new offense. Sure the running game is supposed to stay the same, but with his involvement in pass blocking, he needs to be on the same page as the rest of the offense in that aspect of the offense.
That said, I hope he only gets a few series and his carries are limited to minimize the injury risk. He plays as hard as he can whenever on the field, whether it is preseason or the playoffs. It's a great attribute to have, but it has hurt him (literally) in the past. |
