That's putting it mildly, Washington is far superior to Lavar, personally I think C. Clemons is more missed than Lavar, but that's just me. :biggthump

Washington is probably a better value than LaVar, but he is not superior to him as far as talent. They're basically the same player(although, LaVar hits a lot harder), but I know the general attitude on this board is to like the cheaper player, so I can see where you're coming from.

And stating that Clemons is needed more than LaVar has to be a joke. :laughing2

I know this is a Marcus Washington thread and deservedly so, but I think LaMar Marshall has really improved over the past 6 or seven games.

He may soon make us forget about AP.

marcus washington deserves everything that comes his way.he has had 2 very good seasons in washington and is definitey one of the core players that coach gibbs always talks about.as far as lavar,he has as much talent as anyone in the nfl,but there is always a reason for him not to do something(injury, contract, management)im really not sure when lavar started = excuses but the guy can be a playmaker when all he is worried about is playing

I saw the article on NFL.com and noted the comment that the last defensive POM the Skins had was Marshall back in '92! I can't believe it's been that long since we had a winner in the category and that DG didn't win it in that time.

To the poster re Portis' month - sadly enough Barber had a slightly better month. I can't help thinking of all the outcomes possible, had we not blown the 1st Giants game:

Division champions
More Pro Bowlers - Portis and not Barber in Hawaii, and possibly Brunell plus a lineman or 2. And that's just the O.
Giants going to TB in the first round (ouch).
Humiliating Dallas even more!

the media seems so desperate to have a star athelete on a NY team that at times it's rather sad. I'll admit Barber had a great month but I think it should have gone to Larry Johnson (756 total yards/642 rushing and 10 total tds/9 rushing to Barber's 836 total yards/627 rushing and 4 total tds/3 rushing tds.) I love what Portis has done carrying us into the playoffs, but he just doesn't have close to the same stats as either guy did this past month.
