Weather in Seattle Saturday? Take a Wild Guess!firstdown 01-10-2006, 09:50 AM It will be a sunny day there after the Skins take care of the Hawks. celts32 01-10-2006, 10:17 AM I thought the Seahawks had one of those roofs that opens and closes. Or is that just the baseball stadium that does that? That Guy 01-10-2006, 10:21 AM we played well very in the rain in denver, so if brunell is healthy he can make do... Hawaii gets even more rain than seattle (200+days a year), but only 30inches a year (though some spots do get 90+ inches). Hawaii is a bit different though, because if a tropical depression forms (which can turn into hurricanes or can be left after hurricanes dissipate) then you can get some serious storms that dump a foot of rain in a day or two. redrock-skins 01-10-2006, 11:36 AM I thought the Seahawks had one of those roofs that opens and closes. Or is that just the baseball stadium that does that? The Mariners have that type of roof, but not the Seahawks. The roof in Qwest field keep most fans dry in the upper levels. dblanch66 01-10-2006, 11:48 AM It is a ploy to keep the Californians down there with Arnold. The average is less than most (if not all east coast cities). We get most of it between November-February. This past summer it didn't rain for almost 2 months. Believe me, we Californians would rather be in ...California. It's 8:50am, sunny and 65 degrees right now...in JANUARY. I'll take that over the rain any day. Plus, our women ....well, no contest. There's a lot of CA transplants up here though, but perhaps they do wish they were back down there as they seem to complain about this weather the most. Redskin 01-10-2006, 11:18 PM If it rains we crowd the box blitz form the outside and send good old suan taylor on the roam for the underthrown balls the hassleback is bound to throw RunRunPass 01-11-2006, 12:20 PM It'll slow down Alexander's cuts who is a WAY softer runner up the middle than Portis. I agree rain helps us i think. Rain is not gonna alow of expolsive throwing offense that people say Seattle has. Alexander is a slasher, rain isnt good for footing, i dont think he will have a blow out game. Portis on the otherhand is up the middel smash mouth.. better for the rain. Also it will be good for our dump passes. i predict 24-10 Skins.....Run boys Run |
