Let's All Enjoy This

It was great chatting with Railcon, Mattyk72, Hooskins, Chip70 and a few others late last night. We were remeniscing about the old Skins...and that was fun.

But now we have the present. A good team. Not a great one.... YET, but they are a team with heart and a will to win.

I think we are onto something and Papa Joe has got things moving in the right direction.
So lets enjoy today and toast the hard working Skins.....and remember, the playoffs are to be savored. It is never na given you make it....just ask the Cardinals.

I'm cool, calm and collected. Stastistics, quotes and predictions will not save the Seahawks. Sean Taylor, Marcus Washington, Lemar Marshall and his majesty Lavar Arrington will punish the Seahawks early and often. This is the best defense in the playoffs and we're the hottest team playing in the playoffs. Just believe and see us winning this game and it will happen without a doubt.

Of course, I want the Redskins to win this one and I think they have a real good shot of doing so. But, as was pointed out in the original post in this threa, I'm just happy to have our season gone the way it has. No one would have predicted us to go from 6-10 to 11-6. We are a very good team that is just a few steps away from greatness. Gibbs & Co. have validated our faith in the team.

i dont want to compare teams but this has got to be one of the top 2 TEAMS in skins history as far as playing together,and basically over-achieving(maybe along with the strike season team of 83?)no one saw this coming ,even with the second coming of coach gibbs.i am truely amazed how much a quality coach matters in this league.i really think the skins have enough to win this game and no one in the nfc scares me.if we run the table to the super bowl,does coach retire for good?

This is almost surreal....We're gonna win today!

The experience this season has just been insane. Never forget how good it has been this season. Sweeping the Cowboys and Eagles, beating the Giants at home. Its been such a fun year to be a Skin Fan. I have been a Skins fan all my life, and never gave up on these guys. We have all the heart, and everyone against us, but the heart and the will to win out ways what anyone can say to us. Were underdogs again guys, lets prove them wrong once more. Show the world that the Redskins are forreal. 7 in row we can do it. Lets not let this great season end today. Im so pumped for it. And whatever happens today, this season has been magical. Thanks for the memories

I know that this Redskins team will go out and play with all their heart and soul. Whatever happens, the result won't be due to lack of effort. As far as I'm concerned they're all winners already. Some teams in the recent past which I won't single out would quit when things looked tough. This a team that deserves our respect no matter the final score. Having said that, I wanna win so bad I can taste it! Now lets go kick their butts!

It has definitely been a great run this year with some on the seat play that has driven me to drink, not really but I may have drank three or four more beers a game with these tight finishes and great wins against the Cowboys and the first round of the playoffs. I will get over it after a couple days if by chance we do lose today because we have everything to win this game and next week and represent in the Super Bowl for the NFC. The skins have brought back and changed what for the past years have been a mindset of what else could go wrong to damn we are going to win and Gibbs and team will find that way again today. Anyway you look at it this season has been great and earned by a group of team players and great fans like here on this site bringing support with sporting gear, or being that 12th man at games, and even making these long road trips to support the team in the playoffs. Love these Skins!!!!!! 3 hrs 45 min. and counting

I actually had a dream about the game today. Remember that game against the Giants where we just couldn't seem to do anything right? Seattle had one of those days today. It was a good dream.
