A very nice play by Watson. But, the bottom line is that because of Bailey's interception, the Broncos are going to the AFC championship while Watson and the Patriots are going home.

I HATE to think that Bailey left us because we weren't a winning team and he's now on a team that is going to the AFC Championship. Hopefully, the Colts will win tomorrow and spank the living hell out of the Broncos at the RCA Dome.

I can't hate on Champ Bailey for wanting out of what he viewed as a bad situation. He was in Washington for six seasons and saw four different head coaches. He was one of the elite players at his position, and when a deal came along that he liked, he took it. He went to a winning team that had a shot at the playoffs. And it's not as though he's just tagging along for the ride. He's actually helping them win. I'm happy for him.

You're a better man than I am for wishing him well. I prefer players who seek to stay with an organization and see it through to wins, rather than quit on the team when it stinks.

I also can't hate on Champ. It's not like he phoned it in when he was wearing the Burgundy and Gold. He played hard, all the time, and the Champ-Portis deal, I think, was one of the few in modern NFL trade memory where I believe neither team got screwed in the long haul. It was good for Champ, good for Clinton (maybe not as good for his shoulders), and great for both teams.

I have no ill will towards Champ Bailey at all. Which is less than I can say for someone like Antonio Pierce, who was made a star by Gregg Williams and bolted as soon as the G-Strings jingled a couple of coins in his face.

LOL Yeah I missed it but looks good on him. He hasn't been as good since he left the District.

I can't even watch that game. In light of today's loss, I'm not going to watch any more games this weekend. I'm in a state of total mourning.

Don't allow our loss affect your weekend plans to the existent that you avoid watching some of the best performances in the playoffs in a long time. Yeah, I'm dissppointed, but when we go the Superbowl I want to have enough arsenal on offense that when one goes down, another steps right in and doesn't miss a step. That's what we have to have in order to defeat the best of the AFC teams which we haven't done in a long time. But I feel your pain.

Well said, Champ is one of the few Corners in the League that can change a game around...

You didn't really criticize Pierce did you? The guy gave us a phenomenal season and they we rewarded him with a lowball offer. If your boss tells you great job and then gives you a joke of a raise are you going to just sit there? I don't blame any football player who takes more money. They sacrifice their long term health for the team.

The thing is, even Pierce admitted our final offer was almost identical to the one he signed with the Giants.
