I think Price has had his chances, I don't think the Redskins need to take a flier on him...if you want a borderline former 1,000 yard receiver go after Koren Robinson...

Danger Will Robinson! I'm having premonitions of K-Drop and Taylor hitting the clubs and getting busted driving 140 mph through PG County with a case of Lowenbrau and a trash bag full of weed in the backseat. Oh yeah, and a couple of glocks under the seat.

Wayne wants to be a #1 WR and will command that kind of role/money (paging Peerless Price and Alvin Harper) and someone will pay him that much.. Stephen Davis had one good season after we let him go and has been damaged good ever since. Beleive it or not, Alstott may be available. He has a big cap $$ and the Bucs are strapped plus they need to re-sign Simms (RFA) so he may be a cap casualty. If a short yardage back is a need (and I'm not sure that it is) there's no better in the game. He also has arms that upon replay are longer than they appear so we may get a phantom 2 pt. conversion!

Davis is old and crippled. Does anyone remember how often he was injured toward the tail of his career here? He hasn't shown that he could stay healthy in Carolina either.

As for Wayne, I don't want to see him come here. His numbers are inflated as he is playing with the best QB in the league and he has one of the best wideouts playing opposite him. Moreover, he'll want a boatload of money that I think could be better spent.

Finally, remember, Danny isn't in control of player-personnel decisions anymore. Plus, I think he's learned from his 2000 spending spree. I'd look for a relatively low-key offseason (other than in the trade/cut department - see, Ramsey, Arrington).

Alsott is talking about retirement. Plus, I can't see him in anything but a Bucs uniform.

Good points But I think the cap might not be in effect this year if a CBA isn't agreed upon before the draft.

I think the microfracture surgery probably spells the end for Davis's career unfortunately. I'd love to see Wayne in Washington too, and have been actually thinking about that all season. The cap numbers just don't look too promising and it just seems like one of those teams with $30 million plus to spend under the cap will be able to pony-up a lot more dollars than Washington can afford. I know all these things will change as guys get cut and some deals are restructured, but I think the Redskins might find themselves in a tight situation as far as off-season spending is concerned...I mean, you can only restructure Chris Samuels's contract so many times...

Stephen Davis has no place in a Redskins uniform. He had his shot a few years ago, and i think it was a mistake cutting him, but he is too old now.

Forget Alstott! I'm telling you, Sellers could do that job.

It's hard to find anything on the guy's RB abilities, but:

In addition to all the football stuff:

Sellers amassed a 16-3 record as an amateur boxer in the heavyweight division. He totaled 14 knockouts in those 16 victories.

He's a killer!

I agree Sellars should have had some more carries this year. We need a solid tall receiver to go over the middle and draw safties up so Moss can go for the homerun more.

What do you guys think about signing Keyshawn? Word on the street is that Dallas is seriously considering cutting him to avoid paying him a roster bonus. He might resign with them for less money, but then again he might not.

For years I've thought the guy was an overrated clubhouse cancer, but he's coming off one of his best seasons; moreover, he would be the perfect complement to Moss: a big possesion style receiver capable of making tough catches in traffic. I'm not sure he has the "character" to make it past the first interview with Gibbs, but I think he could help us at a much cheaper price than someone like Wayne.
