We don't need to be the wayward home for recovering troublemakers. His pass catching is a question and his character is a wuestion. What is there to want? He isn't even a fit for this team is he was any good. Much less as a questionable talent.

Wasn't we once with Dexter Manley....?????

I watched Robinson all the years he played at NC State. Kid is a great athlete, but he is also his worst enemy. If, and it is a BIG if, he can keep his head screwed on straight, he would be a good pick-up.

I think we need to undestand that Joe Gibbs isn't looking for "saints" to wear the burgundy and gold. Yes, he's looking for character guys, but exactly what does that mean? I think it entails a lot, but someone with a checkered past, such as KR, isn't automatically disqualified. Gibbs talks a lot about "human nature". When asked last year if the game had past him by, he basically responded that you know the game may have changed a lot since I've been gone, but people are basically the same.

I guess what I'm getting at, is that Gibbs has had a Koren Robinson or two in his day and I think he can be a powerful influence on this guy.

I certainly think Gibbs would be open to meeting Robinson, getting a feel for him and coming to an understanding and a determination on his own.

Don't be suprised to see this guy opposite Santana next year.

I watched him at Nc State too. I remember thinking that this guy is going to be a star in the NFL. Good size, good speed, and good hands.

The fact is alcoholism is a very strong addiction and none of us know if he will turn his life around. Let's hope so. Right now he seems to have done some of the right things. If Joe wants to take a shot for him, i'd so go for it. He might have a good influence on him.

Leave this guy alone. This guy has T.O. tendencies. Lets not pick up another guy that is going to be making bigger headlines in the off season than during the season. I'm still curious to see how Sean Taylor's off field problems are resolved.

Joe Gibbs isn't looking for Saints but he definitely isn't looking for punks and guys with serious character issues.

If they were to take a chance on Koren Robinson then why stop there? Might as well get TO. These guys are all losers and if the Redskins go after these types of guys then we know that this team has hit the high water point. Don't worry Gibbs will not waste his time picking up players that need to be baby sitted.

Well, from what I can see T.O. and Koren are different situations. Koren has had addiction issues, while TO has ego issues. I'm not defending either, but they are quite different.

Plus, Koren has had a full year without incident and his peers and coaches voted him to the Pro-Bowl. Performance aside, I think that says a lot.

If he was to come to DC, he is close friends with Shawn Springs who would be able to monitor Koren. I think we should take a chance on this guy. We'd have three speedsters to stretch the field (Moss, Robinson, and Patten), as well as a great underneath receiving threat (Cooley). If that doesn't open up the running game even more, I don't know what will. I think he might be a great pickup

I think it is funny that people discount T.O. and then make excuses for a guy like Robinson. Granted, the skins cannot afford T.O. but he is a choir boy compared to Robinson (not to mention three times more talented). Let Robinson go to Dallas. Maybe he can hang out with Irvin and Newton.
