This May billions of black, shrimp-size bugs with transparent wings and beady red eyes will carpet trees in the U.S. from the eastern seaboard west through Indiana and south to Tennessee. By the end of June they'll be gone, not to be heard from or seen again for 17 years.

I wasnt very old when they came the last time but I remeber them being a pretty big problem.I can still remeber that damn noise they make.

Eh, they're harmless. Noisy, but harlmess. The only other thing you have to look out for is their clumsiness. They tend to fly into in things, I remember having one fly into and landing on my leg.
