carnivale's last season (its second) was one of the most amazing runs of television i've seen... i can't believe they cancelled it. i think it wasn't mainstream enough for people.

I agree that it wasn't mainstream enough, but I also think that that was the whole charm of it. I mean the fact that is was the old style carnival with the good vs evil underlying theme. I thought it was great. Brother Justin does truck commerical voice overs. I think its for honda ridgeline.

even though he was awesome as Brother Justin, I'll always remember him as the bad ass mofo from Highlander.

They should have whacked the show a long time ago. HBO has fallen quite a bit IMO. About the only thing that kept my interest was Real Time with Bill Maher and even that wasn't enough for me to give HBO the boot. The Daily Show seems to fill in nicely for it.

Yea Rome was lame. I think Bill Mayer is funny sometimes, but I don't go out of my way to see it. I don't think I've seen it in months.
I can't wait for Deadwood to come back on, its so good.

I watched the first few seasons of The Sopranos but it's jumped the shark for me.

Can't believe it's still going, is this the last season??

I love Bill Maher's show. He's hilarious. Even though I disagree with him on practically every issue (save for the war in Iraq and the incompetent buffoonery of the Bush Administration), I DVR each episode. Now I only wished I'd seen all of those "Politically Incorrect" episodes he did for Comedy Central and ABC. Can't believe those were on every single night. Now, he only does one show a week, and takes half the year off.

Do you think his old episodes will ever be released on DVD?
