The book on Jeff Mitchell
Takes good angles to blocks and generally does a good job of cutting linebackers off at the second level. Shows good body control in space and has the lateral mobility to adjust to the moving target at the second level. Has above-average range and is capable of pulling and trapping effectively. However, Mitchell is undersized and he is far more effective when he is uncovered than when a massive two-gap defenders line up over his head. Lacks ideal bulk, isn't going to engulf many defenders at the point of attack and isn't going to wear many defenders down over the course of the game. Doesn't have great lower body strength, doesn't play with great leverage and can't push the pile in the running game.

The book on Jeff Mitchell
Thanks big guy.....He sounds like a good fall back if someone gets hurt. Except for a starter or two on D I love to see us get A few back ups on the OL so we are not falling in to what happen to the team in a play-off game with a back up center starting.

I hate seeing us give up on Dockery. Just like we are giving up on Clark. Hopefully this guy is for depth.
I know we didn't draft Clark, but we made him, and I'm getting tired of this team not giving their home grown players a chance. Its always lets bring in the free agent from behind door number 1.
Then everyone runs around all happy like we hit the lottery and couldn't care less that we keep handing out these huge contracts.
I know the cap has never come back to bite us in the big one. BUT this year was the year that the wheels would have fallen off of the wagon. THANK GOD the CBA got done. If not, you and I both know we would have lost someone else on this team that we didn't want to lose.
I applaud the Lloyd deal. That is a good value for the draft picks we gave up. Randel-El doesn't seem like he is worth all that money to return kicks/punts, catch <50 balls and throw a few passes on trick plays. I love these guys' abilities, and they are great players, just over paid.
We're definitely not replacing Dockery, we already tendered him at the highest rate so if someone signs him away we would get a #1 pick. You typically don't do that with a guy you want to replace.
Mitchell would provide us with a quality reserve lineman.

All the coaches including Gibbs said Dockery has a great season. He worked hard and learned things that other coaches didn't teach him. Great improvement. The guy next to him had a bad 04 and knowone was on him like this except me!!! That was the LT[very important lineman in the NFL] and Samuels was very green for such a high pick coming out of college! Doc is coming along and will have a great 06!!!

I have to say you are wrong. We have the ability to lure players with our competitive advantage~money. Archuleta is flat out a better physical prospect than Clark. Secondly we are getting from Clark a chance to match any offer he gets, he just hasn't got one yet. We made offers to all our restricted free agents.
Rabach played both center and gaurd, he may be the one who switches over

we can't keep both archuleta and clark unless clark is willing take a cut plus like many are saying we need all the cap space we can for other positions unless one will play LB.

The starting center of the Pathers will be in this week to sure up maybe the OL. Mitchell has be in the league eight years and is 6-4,300. I do not think he has played anything other then center in the pro's. Maybe he did in college? Dose anyone know? The Washinton Times is reporting this.
let's get em...we are rolling
