I never really lived in a predominately republican place. i used to live in Ohio and even then there was a good mix up north. I live in Maryland now, right outside DC. It is very liberal and I won't live in any republican place. Maybe if I go to texas....

And in the Northern Virginia region, I am a proud Democrat in N.VA. Northern VA is totally different than what most people think VA is like. I really hate it when I tell people I am from VA and they think I live on a farm. There was actually some talk about N.Va succeeded lol, because of its differences and because were not getting enough of our tax dollars back. The point is VA differs alot, especially out by tidewater(higher minority population, do not worry I am a minority too so I am allowed to say that lol) and N.Va(very close to DC, therefore more suburban/urban and populized)

It just goes to show that it is no coincidence things go really well when the GOP is in the White House. 3 superbowls under reagan
george allen era: Nixon/ Ford. That made my day to find out for sure Gibbs is Red not Blue.

Well wasn't there that who streak about something about voting, and we were suppose to win that game or something, bc the streak had gone on for years. I think it had something to do with the GOP, but yeah this GOP stuff is all luck.

the breaking of the streak just shows how bad the officiating in that game was (calling back a TD and such) ;)

All those million dollar homes are purchased by loto winners. Sorry, I got to go and milk my cow amd my time at the library computer is up too. You people in N Va are just so much smarter buying 1500sq ft homes for $800,000 and driving 2 hours to get to your office 10 miles away. Any body got a nickle so I can reboot this here computer.

Just like a dem thinks they are smarter and better.

Not to change the theme of this thread, but firstdown do you guys think you could one day get a pro team down there? I'm just asking because I really know nothing about that area but I know they've put up serious bids in the past for baseball and basketball teams. And I just wonder if it's realistically a viable option. Usually, it's not the first place that comes to mind when talking about expansion but apparently they've put some good proposals together.

the norfolk area has a lot of concentrated jobs and infrastructure built around it, so they could probably support a team...
