But with the Archuleta thing I'm sorry he isn't in the same league as the guys a mentione before if he where he still be a Ram you don't let your star players hit FA

I can't agree, there are a lot of stars in free agency. There is a handful on the redskins I can think of right now. Griffin, Washington, Springs, Randle-El, Archuleta.

Hey, I guess nobody lets their stars go... like Terrell Owens. And I bet there is an argument somewhere about what is a star and why they are released and so on... but I won't discuss, that's a judgment thing. Matter of fact this is a judgment thing... let me get off of this.

Anywayz, do you think that it would be overpaying a star wideout with (major) behavior issues which would possibly destroy a whole team? I know Jones is a gambling man, but his whole team? Cuz that's the risk the Cowboys are taking on.

OK is he worth the Highest salary for a safety in the History of the NFL. or not if not you overpaid. Simple is he worth the top 5? what has he done to deserve that raise thats my question?

i think this year is one of those years where basically everything done in FA you kind of have to throw out the window. this wont be the norm for the future years, its all a result of the CBA agreement. whether AA is worth top 5 safety money, possibly, but was he worth top safety money in nfl historY? probably not, but like i said before just remember that the cba caused a lot of crazy deals to get done. i mean those deals for bentley and hutchinson are INSANE.

If Arch makes the TEAM better and his play is part of the equation that results in a better WL record, his price is more than worth it. Conversely, TO is expensive at any price because of the probabilty his impact on the team will be a gigantic negative.

make sure the you capitalize "History of the NFL." And lets forget about the inherent relativity in determining the value of the dollar. Ya know, $1 today is $1 yesterday and all. Come on dude. The value of a Dan Snyder $1 is alot less than a Ram $1. Because we have more of them. Money doesnt establish value. The buyer's demand establishes value.

Good lord, are we on the Gold Standard still?

i agree. this is why i dont see why anyone wuld want his gigantic contract because unless your team is just a player away frmo super bowl contention, you dont get him. hes a hired gun, nothing more.

Ok overpaying a safety that may hurt the team in the future (conceding to your opinion for the point of this argument) that upgrades a position at the very least .... OR ..... taking on a bipolar (now conceding to my opinion) wr that may destroy an entire team... it happened with the only 2 teams he has been with before and stirred up a team that he never was a teammate of (Ravens). Now that's not overpaying, that's priceless.
