I pounded Time Warner with emails and a few phone calls for about a year to no avail. :(
The first thing I did when I bought my house was get DirecTV hooked up, peace out digital cable, hello NFL Network, hello NFL Sunday Ticket!!
The more I think about it the more likely I am to switch to DirecTV myself. It seems to be what has helped out all that have been let out in the cold by their cable providers.

i understand what you are going through my brother. I'd be having NFL Network withdrawel by now. Hopefully Comcast comes to your area soon.
It is painful!!! No matter if they step up to the plate or not I am seriously looking into the DirecTV option.

I feel you. I just moved to Martinsburg WV about a month ago, and besides the fact that it was like pulling teeth to get my internet and cable hooked up I've been pleased with them.
I understand that they offer the NFL Network in most areas, but not yet in mine, which sucks a donkey ass. I got sick of Directv and getting lied to about having HDTV when as it turned out I got sold the wrong equipment and they wanted me to buy all new shit for the HD services.
Then they fail to tell you how bad their internet service actually blows... and how pricey it is. I didn't get duped by that when I lived in the country in Amissville, but I had friends who did and Directv really left a bad taste in my mouth with all that nonsense.
I hope we adelphites start getting NFL network soon.

Adelphia will soon be Comcast in your area. Maybe even before September.
DirecTV has NFL Network. :)
So does Dish Network, which I prefer to DirecTV. :)
Either sat service is better and cheaper than cable anyways.

Comcast's franchise agreements with most of what will soon be the former Adelphia territories should be finalized in the next month or so, and the official switch-over should take place sometime in June. Assuming everything stays on track, current Adelphia subscribers should have access to NFL Network via Comcast Digital Cable before training camps begin in July.
I'm a big fan of DirecTV so far. No complaints.
I still use Time Warner for high speed internet though.

Speaking of the satellite services, which is best, DirecTV or Dish Network?
You can't beat DirecTV for it's sports offering, and of course NFL Sunday Ticket. That alone makes DirecTV worth it for me.
