I think they used him as a nickel & back up corner later in the season. Anyway, Hamilton doesn't seem to have great football instincts but that could be in part due to his learning a position in 1 season. Give him some time & he's definitely smart & athletic enough to develop. Would be great for us as a special teamer too as he's played a lot in that role. He's worth a 6th or 7th rnd pick. What did he do in HS, and why couldn't he find a position in 4 years at VT? maybe you've got an answer, but its something teams are probably wary of... Hamilton Sun, 9 Apr 2006 07:51:13 -0700 Tony Grossi, of the Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns general manager Phil Savage and defensive coordinator Todd Grantham conducted a personal workout of Virginia Tech S Justin Hamilton on campus Thursday, April 6, the second time a Browns contingent visited with him. shows you how important measureables can be. He'll be taken somewhere solely on his workout numbers. PSUskinsfan11 04-09-2006, 12:36 PM Never liked VaTech but I do think Montgomery would be a real nice pick up in a late round. That Guy 04-09-2006, 12:56 PM Never liked VaTech but I do think Montgomery would be a real nice pick up in a late round. the skinss did bring him in for a local workout, so that's a good sign. He's super athletic (fast), but not strong enough for the NFL yet (it is fixable). |
