teams have tried the three fast wr route before - worked for you guys in the eighties - but like any scheme there is a defense.
Our O line is better by default - couldn't possibly be worse...

I'm not worried about T.O. as long as we have Shawn Springs and Sean Taylor in our lineup. I remember replays of the way they handled him in the Eagles games. Taylor laid out Owens a few times and managed to shut him up pretty quick.

I agree that Dallas' offense could be better, but a lot depends on the o-line gelling and also T.O.'s behavior.

yeah, but you couldn't stop one fast WR last year.

you are right. We couldn't stop one last year. But we had no pass rush either, Brunell had a week to heave those up. Hopefully we have a rush this year.

If you put Springs on our fastest receiver - Glenn - and use Taylor to double with the other cb on TO, you have to cover Witten with who - Archuleta? Yeah your HB/TE Cooley did okay when we tried to cover him with a SS or an OLB. TO helps us set up that same defensive headache.

In TO's last 3 games against us, he's had 10 catches for 103 yards and 1 TD total.......in 3 games. I'm not worried about TO ever giving us a defenseive headache.

A good team with a smart coach with talent in the secondary could stop the Philly attack that was pass, pass, pass, pass to the rb, then pass, pass, pass.
TO will open the game up for Dallas' running game.

And when the S hesitates and peeks in to the backfield? One of our recievers will have gone by him.
Of course this only works if our O Line gives Bledsoe time. We'll see.

Hmmm, that's interesting because in TO's last 3 games against Dallas (including the partial game in which he broke his leg), TO had 13 catches for 208 yards and 3 TDs.......so by implication......
I agree with you that Dallas's running game stands to benefit from TO being there......but against us I'm just not worried. If he ever got the better of us, I might be concerned......but we've consistently shut him down regardless of the offense he's playing for, even when all the other teams in the NFL got torched by him.
