Not because I want to be the "new" WP ego, but because I want to have a venue other than the board (which I don't feel is appropriate for some of my ranting) I have created my own personal page and just needed some input on what's the best place to register a domain name and where I should get the site hosted at. I'm temporarily building it at http://www.angelfire.com/blog/themalcolmconnection/index.htm
Any ideas or suggestions would be great. This will eventually be my online portfolio and lead to some other things to further my freelance career.
godaddy usually has the cheapest prices for domains
As for a server, I'm using this one for another project of mine, great prices, tons of space and bandwidth, plus they offer a free domain when you sign up.

Nice, it's way cheaper than I thought it would be to do. Thanks for the advice.

I use http://www.Brinkster.com. They're a little more expensive and I don't have quite the storage or bandwidth, but I get asp.net capabilities.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I want to go that detailed, just some simple HTML. I've just suffered with banner ads and enormous page names for far too long. That Siteground site is looking pretty promising so far.

Yeah, that host looks suitable for "Malcolm's Straight Ballin' Page".

I see now the old page is getting passed around like the dorm floor whore.
