Well, we know he won't be wearing #56 if he signs with the VAgiants.
Lavar to the Giants?dblanch66 04-06-2006, 01:05 AM Well, we know he won't be wearing #56 if he signs with the VAgiants. MonkFan4Life 04-06-2006, 08:16 AM Well, we know he won't be wearing #56 if he signs with the VAgiants. HA ! VAGIANTS !!!!!!!!!!! OMG THAT'S SOME FUNNY STUFF !!!!! HAIL !!!!!!!!!!!!! HAIL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tell you guys, I think Lavar really wants to be a Redskin right now but he knows that if he comes back then he'll get ripped by the media. I mean Julian Peterson got 7 years $54 mil ? Lavar couldn't find a good deal. Or is he looking for that much, or is it that he really doesn't want to play anywhere else ? I don't care really, I wouldn't be suprised if The Danny brought him back but I don;t see that happening. WOW that Vagiants thing was funny !! Paintrain 04-06-2006, 08:41 AM I'm not going to pile on Lavar but it seems like he has made some poor decisions.. Essentially paying to get out of his contract when they wanted to bring him back hasn't worked out the way he wanted it to. I'm sure he expected to go right out and get a Peterson like contract but from what I'm hearing he's getting offered 2-3 year deals with heavy incentives.. Also do you think the fact that he's still represented by the Postons is impacting his contract status? Nobody likes dealing with those clowns and after last time any owner/GM knows that the details of the contract are going to be reviewed to death. MTK 04-06-2006, 08:42 AM I just wish he would sign somewhere so this drama ends. LaVar surrounded by drama yet again, what a surprise. jbcjr14 04-06-2006, 08:48 AM He will sign somewhere, but not for near the money he is looking for. Hopefully some AFC team will put alot of $$ on the table and get him out of our conference. firstdown 04-06-2006, 09:32 AM That really depends, some say its safer than grass while others say its not. And they have been tests done by both parties, and both prove their own point. Basically its not verified.I read an article were they compaired the injuries from players that play on artifical v/s grass and they said that injuries were about the same on both. I think it was the NFL that did the reserch and they said that they could not draw any conclusions of which was safer. They did note that artificial caused more rug burn type injuries than grass. Bandwagon 04-06-2006, 09:37 AM The Giants are reluctant to pay Arrington what the Poston's have asked so for the moment this is going nowhere in the Big Apple: http://www.nypost.com/sports/giants/66598.htm EXoffender 04-06-2006, 09:45 AM :vomit: LaVar is probably touching himself at the prospect of playing in the biggest media outlet in the world.Unfortunately, no one cares to watch NYG or NYJ games. That's why they share the same stadium. The Knicks will soon join them if they don't start winning more games. EXoffender 04-06-2006, 09:48 AM Well, we know he won't be wearing #56 if he signs with the VAgiants.I predict that LT will allow Arrington to wear #56. Just like he allowed him to get an earring made with the the initials 'LA' that mocked his own. MTK 04-06-2006, 10:30 AM When is LaVar gonna wake up and can his agents? Teams simply aren't going to pay top dollar for a LB who's been injured the better part of the last two seasons, clashed with his coaching staff, and has a reputation for being a freelancer. His best bet is to sign something short-term, show that he can regain his Pro Bowl form, and then cash in with a nice deal. |
