Yeah, as far as I'm concerned, the money is only a means for me to experience the things I have goals on experiencing in life. I'd much rather only put in the 35 hours I work a week and keep making 30-40k a year. I'm not sure if it's like this everywhere, but where I work we get a guaranteed raise every year of at least 5%. I'll be perfectly satisfied with that my whole life considering I enjoy my job.

I love my job. I have been in the navy for six years now. I have been around the world twice, seen and done things that most people will never do, and now I work in a office where I don't have to wory about deployment for a couple of years at least. I make pretty decent money but only because I have been advanced a few times at lower levels it reall sucks. But all in all I get up every morning and look forward to going to work.

tell me about it, my job sucks. I went to sleep late last night after watching a semi-good movie-inside man. After being awaken at 10am from a phone call from a telemarketer I was unable to fall back asleep. This is my spring break and I am home alone. After watching TV on the couch all morning with nothing good on I had to make lunch at 12:30. That was bull shit. I just wanted to watch my judge hachett in peace. So I make my lunch and it takes up 5 whole minutes. I have to go all the way back to the computer to type this. I got some popcorn which made me somewhat happier but I have to get the mail in an hour and am really not looking forward to it.

My job is okay. I work at Petco helping to groom dogs. If you know how to cut dogs hair, the pay is awesome. The guy I work with makes about $2000-$3000 in comission every 2 weeks. So Thats anywhere between.. 48k to 72k a year if he does some breakneck work.

But to do that he has to pull in about 40 dogs a week. Which is rough and you HAVE to be good at what you do cause some people get really bent out of shape if you cut their dogs hair wrong. lol

Stupid me, I don't get comission I get paid $7 on the clock. Personally I'm trying to switch over to Petsmart. Cause I really don't enjoy working at Petco. Haha.

But if you're looking to make some REALLY good money on a sidejob, learn how to groom dogs.

You guys have a tough job. I've got a miniature schnauzer who is docile and well behaved on the groomer's table. I'll try to give her a trim from time to time, and I've gotten as good as an amateur can get, I think. But it's still nowhere close to the results I get from Petsmart. And I got to give you a nod for bravery, I go in the grooming shop sometimes and every now and then see a shelty or a spitz that is just deathly afraid of a brush and is looking to absolutely rip the hand off of the groomer. I mean those dogs SNAP sometimes. Hope you don't get bit too much. And mad props to you for what you do. That takes skill.

LOL nice post BSB. You must be settling into the best few months of school ever. Senioritis must be setting in by now. It's friggin great, you work hard throughout high school to make it into a college you like, you get in, and all of a sudden nobody cares about your grades anymore! That's the life. I mean you still have to pass and all so you don't get thrown out of college, but before when only As would do, now Bs and Cs will do the job just fine.

C is for cookie, and it's good enough for me! Enjoy your senior year man!
