Terry Glenn. Only if TO is still playing. And DALs OL is light years better than last year. And the 'Skins three headed monster produces three 1000 yard WRs.
Who will be the NFC East best Reciever in 2006?EXoffender 04-09-2006, 04:11 PM Terry Glenn. Only if TO is still playing. And DALs OL is light years better than last year. My prediction is that it won't take long for Parcells to have him behind the woodshed.:spank: PorterHouse 04-09-2006, 10:06 PM Moss --the good one #89 Master4Caster 04-10-2006, 12:12 AM On paper, you have to give it to Owens who has been a consistant top performer. But who knows how it works out on a new team. Randy Moss was consistant big yardage producer with the Vikings. He had a notable fall off with Norv Turner's Raiders. Big yards don't have to = MVP. Santana's yardage will go down this season, and you want it to. That means the Skins are distributing the ball to more receivers who are getting open and catching the pass. That makes the team more productive. That was the whole point of landing Lloyd and R-El. I say Santana will have the highest yards per catch and TDs per reception of the wide receivers in the NFC East. TO and Moss could come close to matching the entire yardage of the whole Eagles receiving corps. D'BOYZ 04-10-2006, 12:53 AM Guys I really don't know I just don't see Moss repeat last year numbers first because the ball will spread around more with Lloyd and Randall i nthe mix and second because od Sauders he uses a lot of screen and pases to the RB. Also I think as a group you might lead all NFC east because of the new system wich is more agressive compared to dallas conservative aproach but I see last year Brunell vs Bledsoe numbers and well Bledsoe had great numbers (taking away all the sacks). I still believe your hole squad might have the better stats at the end an I will put TO if he estay healthy in mind and body just because he has been consistent trought out his carrer. PhxRedSkin 04-10-2006, 09:43 AM But in the midst of all that he will still have managed 110+ yards in every game he has played TO is a wideout just like evey other wideout. If you ever played football and more over were a DB then you'll understand that all you need to do is cover him. Bledsoe is probably the worst QB he's ever been teamed up with. There has never been a one man show. There is 11 men on the field, who cares about TO. Period. Our opponents should worry about our stellar offensive line, and Cooley, Sellars, Moss, Loyd, EL and last but not the least Mr. Sheriff gonna getcha Portis let TO be TO, he will probably do a Bo Jackson and then we will never have to talk about him again. He had a notable fall off with Norv Turner's Raiders. injuries played a big part in that. there were a lot of games where he literally played 3 downs, but still managed to score. A weak armed QB in collins also hurt. Still when 1005 yards and 8 TDs is a down year, you're not doing all that bad. PSUSkinsFan21 04-10-2006, 12:05 PM Still when 1005 yards and 8 TDs is a down year, you're not doing all that bad. Unless he's you're #1 fantasy WR.........overhyped jerk. Super Bowl '07 Hail I'm not really sure what the heck the point of this post is, but I know one thing, TO is not a wideout just like every other wideout, and saying "all you need to do is cover him" is oversimplifying just a tad, don't you think? He's one of the hardest receivers to cover in the NFL. And he's easily the hardest to tackle once he has the ball. He's definitely not like every other wideout. I think the purpose of your post was just to say that the Redskins are a superior team as a whole, and that's what matters most. That much I'd agree with. Schneed10 04-10-2006, 01:29 PM Guys I really don't know I just don't see Moss repeat last year numbers first because the ball will spread around more with Lloyd and Randall i nthe mix and second because od Sauders he uses a lot of screen and pases to the RB. I agree with this sentiment 100%. TO is great, but he doesn't solve all of Dallas's problems. He's the best WR in the NFC East, and probably in the entire league. But he's the worst teammate in the league too. |
