I do my shopping no where near paydays and also go late in the evening to avoid crowds. I have been shoping at the commisarry here and got everythingg and then noticed how long the line was and then just left my kart there an went home. F..... long lines!

good old commisary lines. anyone else notice the polar opposite of some wives with some being hot as hell while others r somewhat scary looking? plus when I used to go I was only in my mid to late teens and there were always cute daughters to make eyes and flirt with so for me the commisary was never too bad, it was the putting away of everything that was a pain in the ass.

as far as the express lane thing, I hate it when the person ahead of u complains about something ringing up for a few more cents than what they thought it would be and demand it be changed even if it means waiting for a manager. and does anyone else consistently have another lane open up after u've been waiting in the so called express line for about 5-10 minutes but there r too many people behind u for u to get over to the newly opened lane? I seem to have that happen too me one-third of the times I go to the grocery store before 8.

or you have two lanes that are about the same in length and the one you always choose seems to take the longest.

One day you guys are going to be old so lets give them a little slack. We don't realy have a problem with long line except when you know they are going to be busy. I still use checks and have it all ready to go so everyone does not have to wait for me to fill out a complete check only the total. I had a debit card but did away with it for 2 good reasons. 1 I have both savings and checking with the same bank and over draft protection for my checking from my savings. If some one got into my card they could drain my checking then my savings. 2 I seem to spend more when I can just pop the card in and get more cash. I use my credit card for most thing and then just pay off the balance every month and I receive points for my charges.

Do they have costco's or samsclubs out there?

I love costco! free food samples. you can buy 10 pounds of crab legs, some grey gooose vodka, a cake, a computer and plasma tv all in one place. what else does a man need? oh underwear and socks. then have them too!

But the long ass lines too leave? JESUS PEOPLE!!! JESUS!!!
do i really ahve to wait for your kid to find an extra jumbo size box of corndogs? can you please get everything you need befor you commit to the checkout line?

Since I live near the only Costco in the county, it hellasucks. I only go if I really need something, and it's not a weeknight or weekend day. The lines are atrocious, and to cram as much crap in the store as they can, you can only accomodiate so much room for the lines. And then they only have 3 registers open, when lines call for 6.

And...I always pick the longest line.
