The plea bargain they rejected still had him pleading to a felony, I think. That's still WAY too much to plead to here, if things are as shaky for the state as they appear.
Misdemeanor suspended sentence is what they're waiting for, but they may feel they have a strong enough case to win it in court no matter what, and they want to vindicate Sean. We'll see. Man, I wish it would go away already.
My point is that all this was with the "old" prosecutor,maybe just maybe the new guy can give a better deal .
