I agree, Hamdan is a talented young QB, just give him some time. This year I think the spot is Tim's.

Daseal 05-11-2004, 07:00 PM I agree, Hamdan is a talented young QB, just give him some time. This year I think the spot is Tim's. BrudLee 05-11-2004, 07:37 PM Honestly, our third stringer may be Tom Tupa. With the depth we have on defense for special teams, we may keep an extra linebacker rather than a QB. SKINSnCANES 05-11-2004, 08:20 PM Hm, Tupa huh, thats be interesting. How many people can we keep on the practice squad. I think they want to be able to hold on to Hamdam, Hasselback, Cloman and mabye some of our running backs. It'll be easier to tell after june 1st cuts. BrudLee 05-11-2004, 08:58 PM The practice squad is eight players, up from five in previous years. I doubt we'll hold two QB's - I'd say that if there is a third QB on the roster, there will not be one on the practice squad at all. lifetimeskin 05-11-2004, 10:25 PM It will be Tim. He proved last year that he can handle NFL defenses even with a faulty offensive system. Carnage 05-12-2004, 11:26 AM Tim performed well if you consider the bizare circumstances surrounding him. I don't know if that means he can handle NFL Defenses. What little success we had with him came when he was a WR. jsarno 05-12-2004, 11:44 AM I am one of the seemingly few that thinks that Timmy SUCKS. I don't have a whole lot of faith in the spurrier project that is Hamden, but one never knows. Right now I'd take Hamden over Tim...but it really doesn't matter. If something happens where we're digging for our 3rd stringer and in the playoff hunt, we'll find someone else. Brunell and Ramsey will do just fine. Hamden is project that MIGHT come around...Timmy was just a fill in that will go nowhere. |
