True, even though I'd hope that Santana understands that it's still the game you play and Sean isn't going to hit you any lighter just because you're related to a teammate.
Draft Grade?TheMalcolmConnection 05-01-2006, 11:15 AM True, even though I'd hope that Santana understands that it's still the game you play and Sean isn't going to hit you any lighter just because you're related to a teammate. EXoffender 05-01-2006, 11:55 AM Kiper also said that Rocky should start this year.He knows Greg Williams. Remember, "Whever you are listed on the depth chart, if you don't consider yourself a starter...". warriorzpath 05-01-2006, 12:04 PM The more time goes by, the more I like McIntosh. The only thing, I would be worried about is keeping him healthy, which the redskins have a little control over. diehardskin2982 05-01-2006, 12:07 PM draft grades are crap because I remember the lions last 2 years had A's and look where their at SmootSmack 05-01-2006, 12:19 PM Draft grades tend not to look at the whole picture. Some say we had no 3rd round pick. I say we used that pick to get Brandon Lloyd. Lloyd is only 24, he's locked in long-term here and he's a proven NFL receiver who can contribute right away. But when people grade the draft they don't count Brandon Lloyd. Just like they say we had no first round pick, but in fact our first rounder has been practicing and studying game film with the Redskins for a year now. Yup, I agree. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 05-01-2006, 12:39 PM Initially I liked the McIntosh pick. Then I didn't like it after I heard we traded a 2nd and a 6th to move up. Now, I think I need to wait to evaluate it until after we see him on the field. Yes, that makes me a "flip-flopper." As for the whole draft. I'd give us a C- as a function of us not having many picks. I don't see how we could have a high grade without a 1st, 3rd, or 4th rounder. I think our offseason free agent acquisitions are much more meaningful than the draft and I think we all knew that before Saturday. SmootSmack 05-01-2006, 12:50 PM There's no guarantee anybody won't get hurt. Chuck Norris wouldn't get hurt...because he's white! HA! I think I'm just going to make a mockery of ST21 at every turn here. JWsleep 05-01-2006, 01:40 PM Good--put a chip on the shoulder of our rookies, our coaches, etc. As a skins fan, you have to just foget about the national media. Whatever. Look, the draft is this crazy wild talking-head-fest that goes on for months on TV and the internet. But ANY look back at the realtionship between predicted success and actual success of these guys will show that the experts are at close to chance. A CHICKEN PECKING AT A COMPUTER COULD PREDICT AS WELL AS THE SO-CALLED EXPERTS. No, I don't have the stats to back this up, but it is a hunch. Why get worried about it? (Rant over...;)) |
