welcome. I think what Campbell does in preseason will determine whether or not he plays his year, although he will be the #2, which means he's probably gonna end up getting some p.t. because Brunell can't stay healthy. If Brunell stays healthy and has a good season, i can see us going places. Next year i think we definitely hand the reins to Campbell though. 2 years on the bench is enough time to get used to the NFL, 3 years on the bench, especially for a first round pick, says either he's not as good as we thought he was, or he's a really slow learner. I don't Campbell is either of the two, so we shouldn't have to worry about that down the road.

I think it's going to be Brunnel for the year.

but here's a question. Lets say Campbell lights it up durring pre-season and Brunnel gets hurt during regular season , does CampBell come in and replace Brunnel or that new third guy?

If JC lights it up during pre-season...then you can bet your bottom dollar he'll get in. In fact, I think it boils down to how well our defense is playing at the time too.

If our defense is on point, I think it makes Campbell's potential transition smoother.

You kind of answered your own question. IF Campbell lights it up in Preseason he'll be Brunnell's main back up and Collins will be relegated to wearing a Skins cap and carrying a clip board. If he doesn't Collins isn't a bad option. Best hope is that the O-line can keep people off of Brunnell enough to keep him healthy for the season and playoffs and we wont have to look to either much this year. Then I'd say Campbell gets his shot the following season.

I wish we would get the sexiest woman ever to be a backup QB. Just get her to wear the jersey, no shoulder pads and short shorts. They don't ever make it in, and I GUARANTEE you that the QBs would listen.

[quote=frenchdiehardskinsfan]hey guys i dont post often but i look at all the forums and skins news everyday cause i live in france and am french and u cant see ball games on tv so i listen to games on nfl.com. This team is special, you can just smell it in the air. I really think the addition of Al Saunders is a great one, i just hope the team learns the system fast. I think the first couple games of the season there is not gonna be a superb offense on the field cause u need time to assimilate it but that doesnt mean the skins are gonna lose because defense and special teams are gonna be great. By week 3 or 4 it will hopefully be at full speed. I think the addition of carter and mckintosh on defense is gonna make it even better. I was just wondering what was gonna happen with brunell and campbell. Brunell gona be the sarter but should we give campbell a shot in some games this year so that we can see wat he's made of. He was a great qb in auburn. please do tell me wat u think about the qb situation and wat u suppose the record is gonna ba .

Greetings Frenchie! I think you pretty much nailed it. It's a great time to a SKINS fan! I am old enough to have lived through Joe's previous tenure and "the glory years". I believe you are correct................there is someting in the air. A feel of excitement...........destiny. Good to have you on the WP! Brunell is the man until Joe has complete confidence in JC (or Brunell goes down). To be perfectly honest, I don't have a politically correct bone in my body, and I laughed my ass off over Mheisig's post.

If so, I missed the punchline.

Sheesh man, don't think about it so much. I wasn't trying to incite an international event, just poking some good-natured fun at those on the other side of the pond.

If he wanted to mock our inefficient and corrupt government or make fun of my American ways I wouldn't get my panties all in a bunch, so I fail to see the big deal.

I'm glad those of you who are more relaxed enjoyed the humor though. Malcom, are you in the Knoxville area often? The Old City is a pretty decent place to hang, all around good atmosphere.

I know seriously, it was just a joke, and all jokes dont have a punchline. I personally thought it was funny, but I know u didnt mean it in an offensive way. Seriously, everyone should just relax and calm down. This is a chill forum where joking is fine, so let it be that way.

I don't think this dude is a frenchie, he just has the displeasure of living there. Hopefully, he can act as an Ambassador of the Warpath for us all, and show them Frenchies how to win something - the Gibbs way!
