I agree, anyone who thinks brunell is the long term qb anwser, jason cambell begs the differ. Not only will brunell loose his starting job about midway into the season do to injury or possibly just getting beat out for the starting roll due to inconsistency. I agree that he came up big for us last year in clutch times but if it had not been for moss and portis our offense would be been non-existent.

jacobs just sucks. even patten averaged a ton more production per game than him as a starter (and they both started multiple games).
get over it.

Can Taylor Jacobs play special teams? Can he play defensive back? If not---------> CUT!

Didn't he block a puntr recover one for a TD in Detroit in 2004? I'd rather see us try to trade him to a team in real need of a(ny) receiver than jsut cut him. I agree that he has done nothing with his chances here and maybe he just needs to get to another team (or go back to the ole ball coach).

What exactly did Patten do to be called a whiner?
Through the first half of the year when he was healthy, there were comments from him about not being more involved with the offense -- not being a primary target in the passing game.
Then, he complained about being placed on injured reserve -- ending his season -- when he had healed enough to go back out and play towards the end of the season. Gibbs had to put him on IR because he couldn't have left a spot on the roster open for that amount of time due to the NFL's roster rules.

Lets see 3 years 30 catches for a little over 300 yards. I think we could go to a high school pick a WR and get more production. Hes outa here.

Just an observation,
I (personally) have not heard anyone suggest that Brunell is the long term solution. The Skins have not hesitated to announce to the media at every oppurtunity that JC is the future of the francise. Time will if Brunell gets replaced this season. I do agree that Brunell did come up BIG for us last year. I also agree that if you take away the entire recieving, and rushing corps, that would present an Offensive dilemma. What team would it not?

ya he did. i think its too late to trade him though. his advantages are his speed, but he cant break away from defenders. his hands are decent but not consistent. much like antonio brown who could break away from defenders but couldnt catch the ball. see the ravens preseason game :spank: . --------------------------- CUT

The first cowgirl game comes to mind immediately. M. Brunell had/has zip on those throws downfield!
Speaking of Patten!
