Well there goes our Super Bowl chances!!!

Relax, it is June 3rd. Mark is an old pro and as it has been said many times in this thread, Jason will get more snaps and be better prepared to take over when the time comes. It will come!!!

Word is he got this hand injury after spending several hours checking out our "hottest celebs" thread....I'm just sayin'

I heard it was from trying to set high scores in the arcade.

Looks like he needs a macro...

;)

It's amazing how he could have broken his finger just throwing during OTA's. I could see if it was some form of contact drill but there's no contact in what they're doing now.

he said something about breaking it on a helmet, so it wasn't "just throwing", which makes it a bit better.

Thanks for the clarification Guy. I hadn't heard any details about how it happened, I had only read that it happened absent any explanation as to how.

Good-Riddins to Ramsey. Great exposure for collins and campbell. Although, its his index finger on his throwing hand, it takes time to get a grip back and will nag later if it gets dinged.

Brunell doesn't get enough credit. I've been watching Redskins vids intensely for the past few days. Noticed that Moss and Cooley caught some nicely thrown balls. No discredit to Moss or Cooley, but some of those balls in Dallas game were more than perfect throws. Brunell will be back and take us to the big game! It is what he was meant to do.

Crap!! Now you see why we shouldn't have traded Ramsey!!!

Brunell probly got the injury 'cause his first read wasn't open and he didn't want to take the hit!

SUUUUUUUUURE...I hope you're being sarcastic.

Ramsey would've:

1. Taken the hit, fumbled resulting in an opponent's TD and been pulled for Brunell.

2. Thrown the ball to a defensive lineman.

3. Turned and run the other way.

Ramsey had some raw talent, but he NEVER mentally matured past his rookie season. He plays every year like it's his first. I'm glad we shipped him off for someone else to deal with.

Side note...how sad is it to be a Jets fan...they could've had Leinart but decided to take their chances with Mr. Forever a Rookie Ramsey and the always-injured Chad Pennington. Last I heard, Brooks Bollinger is going to be cut too. :)

God this sucks, this going to effect us all year and we will propably drop in the power rankings. Why would Gibbs allow Brunell to put himself in a position to get hurt. Hes old and injuries like this can go on for months and if he starts practising to soon it may never heel. We let Ramsey go for virtualy nothing and all we have now is a rookie and what his name. What a way to start the year.

Yes it will affect us all year...we'll have a better-prepared Jason Campbell.
