we keep 9 DL (4 DE, 5 DT), up to 9 LB (for special teams), 9 DB (5 CB, 4 S)

here's who i think make it:

Offense (24):
3 QB - Brunell, Campbell, Collins
3 RB - Portis, Betts (ST), Cartwright (ST)
1 FB - Sellers
5 WR - Moss, Lloyd, Randle-El (ST), Patten, Thrash (ST)
3 TE - Cooley, Fauria, Johnson (ST)
3 OT - Samuels, Jansen, Molinaro
4 OG - Thomas, Dockery, Walters, Jones
2 C - Rabach, Pucillo

Defense (26):
4 DE - Carter, Daniels, Wynn, Evans
5 DT - Griffin, Salavea, Killings, Montgomery, Golston
8 LB - Washington, Marshall, Clemons, McIntosh, Holdman, Havner (ST), Campbell (ST), Mccune (ST)
5 CB - Springs, Rogers, Wright, Jimoh (ST), Onyenegecha (ST)
4 S - Taylor, Archuleta, Prioleau (ST), Doughty (ST)

Special Teams (3):
1 P - Derrick Frost
1 K - John Hall
1 LS - Ethan Albright

Practice Squad (8):
Lumsden (RB)
Broughton (FB)
Ortega (TE)
Lefotu (OL)
Alston (OL)
Simon (LB)
Patterson (CB)
Hawkins (CB)

Only non-starters are marked as (ST) Special Teams players.

Broughton should probably make the final cut instead of one of the extra OL guys since he's useful on teams, but the OL backups can't be placed on the PS. Manuel Wright (FB) and Kerry Carter (PS RB) end up missing the cut mainly because I don't have a good read on them yet. A WR and DL are also more likely to make the practice squad than two OL guys and 2 CBs, but i didn't see anyone of equal talent to take their spots.

- Boschetti (DT) consistantly ended up on the bench at the end of last year, so i doubt he makes it.
- Patten will NOT be cut, he too useful to the team compared to the alternatives (ie jimmy farris and taylor jacobs) and we don't need the cap space.

Who do you have starting at ROLB at season's beginning?

no one right now... i'm not a big fan of naming McIntosh as a starter without actually seeing him play in at least a preseason game. He's the most likely though, but clemons and holdman are possibilities too.

right now i'd say clemons. at the end of the preseason it should be McIntosh though (hopefully).

Only big question for the roster is WR...more like which one will be cut...personally I liked what I saw from Jimmy Farris last year, certainly alot better then jacobs

umm...

jimmy farris - complete 2005 stats: 1 catch for 18 yards
taylor jacobs - complete 2005 stats: 11 catches for 100 yards
james thrash - complete 2005 stats: 14 catches for 194 yards

and thrash is a killer ST player. This one isn't a question at all. thrash is good locker room, good in practice and workouts, and great on special teams (coverage), a competent backup option on returns, and actually useful as a #3/#4/#5 wide receiver.
