PFCU is pretty good... good % rates, open 7 days a week, working online banking before the other guys.

Best - Microsoft Xbox
Worst - Wachovia

M$soft - their online service support team is second to none. I had some issues with my new x360 and within 4 days had a new one. They did me right so I think they are the best. I have Bank of America as well and they were a close second.

Wachovia - screw those idiots. I had a student loan with them and paid it off several years ago. Went to apply for mortgage and they showed the loan in default...took 30 days to get it cleared up...fucking idiots.

Best - Hampton Inn hotels. 100% guarantee, if you have ANY problems, you get the night for free. They're not stingy with the comp nights either and will go out of their way to make you happy before you complain.

Worst - AOL. I wasn't even a customer and they were charging me for 4 months because my wife put a "free hours" cd in the computer for about 5 minutes just to check it out. She uninstalled it and never logged on again but they felt justified in taking 100 bucks from me and refusing to cancel the account I never signed up for. Keep those cds away from your computer! Also, their employees are all Indians who can't speak OR understand English. On my 4th call to cancel and get my money back, I just started out the call by DEMANDING an English-speaking supervisor who finally closed the account and refunded me. AOL is a tool of Satan.

I've had good experiences with ING Direct - they all speak English as a native language, friendly, helpful, quick, and I think you pretty much always get a person not a machine.

How'd they get your credit card number?

I guess you have to enter it to install it. Ask my wife. :D

Still, she cancelled the account and uninstalled the software and they kept charging.

Also, it shouldn't take HOURS on the phone to do such a simple thing as a refund.

Good:
Clyde's Restaurants in the D.C. area (and those owned by Clyde's group-Old Ebbit, 1789, Tombs...). They bend over backwards and give out all kinds of free stuff if anything goes wrong.
Apple does agreat job too. Fast return of product after repairs and good phone support.

Bad: Gateway. Man, they screwed me over a few times on the phone and losing my hard drive when they were repairing the power input.

Plus, the title of the song "Afternoon Delight" comes from an old hour happy food menu from there.

Worst customer service - At Wendy's.

I don't know what it is, but it seems like each manager at Wendy's somehow manages to find the most ignorant, retarded inbreds this side of West Virginia to work for them.

Best customer service - Sprint

Not that they are particularly friendly, you can just make threats and they'll give you anything you want.I had a very bad experience w/ sprint. they over charged me one billing period by like 300 dollars. i paid what the bill should have been and after talking to them about it over the phone they told me i would have to pay the entire amount or risk having my service discontinued. i didnt have the extra money so they cut my service off and charged me the cancellation fee. they told me that if i wanted to dipute it i would have to pay the amount that they said i owed and then they would investigate it further.these charges were false but i still got stuck with the fee and they told me that it was my fault and i should have just paid it and then disputed it.

on a good note i have recently recieved a class action lawsuit notice regarding this matter and i will definetly be participating
