Me too, the stuff IS good. It's just not real cheese, but hey, just let me enjoy it and don't tell me what it really is and there won't be any problems. :D

Was it me or did it look like Pierce was leaning over his linemen trying to hear the calls that Payton was calling out then shifting the D. Did anyone catch Aringtons intro "Double nickles from the scool of hard knocks" I did not see him hit anyone the whole game.

why is that being an idiot. Football is a game where you try and get an advantage over the other team. Pierce is a very UNDERRATED MLB in the NFL. He probably prepares more than half the LBs in the NFL. that was he does during film study, he can listen to audibles and call change the D. Thats what a MLB does. I dont see how that makes him an idiot. He played very well for us, should have gone to probowl. He was playing very good for NY last year when he got hurt, and notice how the D started to go to crap after he was hurt.

No, I think he was calling Arrington an idiot not Pierce.
I think Pierce is to defense what Manning is to offense in terms of acumen and that sort of thing. Pierce was trying to jam Peyton's calls and audible over him.

Some might say that the signing of Mark Brunell factored heavily in not being able to sign Antonio Pierce to a long term contract. Same for Fred Smoot.
Not that I'm trying to start a firestorm with that comment or anything.

I'd take the Brunell signing over Pierce all day long.
I tell you what was another good non-signing a lot of us are not totally aware of - Courtney Brown. He's out again with a knee injury. Just think, what two years removed from not signing him, I wonder if a guy like Andre Carter is able to come to DC because we passed C. Brown??

Man, you're not kidding. Courtney Brown -- what a sad-luck case he is.
Incidentally, one of the players I'll be watching closely is Andre Carter. He got zero pressure on anyone in preseason, and with only 4 sacks in San Fran last year, I'm not as optimistic as some are about his signing. We'll see what kind of contribution he'll make with Daniels on the other side.
