Either way, ask yourself this. Would you rather he just sat on his ass and didn't put any efforts into the team and said no to repeated requests from the coaching staff to open his checkbook?
Ralph Wilson, anyone?

one final thought and i am done with snyder bashing. I am not saying these free agents we have gotten are busts at least not after one game. I hope they all go to the pro bowl honestly but snyder cant hide from his track record. Maybe i am wrong but to say he is a great owner is a pretty big stretch.

No man you wrong. Snyder has the final vote on personnel decisions. He can overrule gibbs. You really think gibbs put his stamp of approval on all of these free agents we aquired this offseason? I beg to differ. But that is just my humble opinion. He is doing more than just signing the checks.
Technically Snyder may have the final decision in personnel, but I seriously doubt he exercises that right nowadays.

You're wrong. You think Gibbs would be here if Snyder had any control of football decisions? I know three things. 1-Snyder is a meddler. 2-Gibbs won't stand for medddling. 3-Snyder would bend over for Gibbs because he is in love with the guy.
All that equals Snyder writes checks and does what Gibbs wants.

Well he is the owner but I don't think he's going out there telling Gibbs who he has to keep and has to get rid of. My whole thing is, why is it that no one can let go of what happened when he first got here. It's almost as if I would say back in February of 1983 "Well sure Gibbs won the Super Bowl, but he started 0-5 so what good is he really?"
I mean the guy is making the effort to put the best product on the field, at least I believe so. And I think others would agree. No one will be satisfied until he wins multiple Super Bowls, even then it won't be enough for most.

You beat me to it I see. Snyder said it was all FRPLG's fault so let's just blame him ;)
He's definitely right.
I wish I had the chance to screw this team up. I wouldn't.

I think what he is doing now is the hallmark of a great owner - surrounding himself with a quality coaching staff and GM, and taking care of the money and the contracts. That said, I disagree vehemently with some of his off-the-field business decisions (obstructed view seats?). However, I think he's put the pieces in place to rebuild this organization.

I've seen a huge difference in Snyder now as opposed to what he was when he first took over ownership. Snyder had to learn the hard way in that 2000 season, and you don't get rich being dumb.

Gibbs would never stand for snyder forcing players on him.He would quit before that happens.
