Vincent was released today. Can we talk about a guy who might actually help us instead of Lionel Friggin' Dalton or some jackass CB that no one has heard of?
I still say he ends up with Mean Green.

speaking of safeties...did anyone notice that cnnsi listed Springs as a safety, I thought that was sad
Almost as bad as when the O'Reilly factor listed Mark Foley as a Democrat. haha.

I think it is an awesome idea and that is coming from someone who hates our penchant for big name, aged vet signings. He is smart enough to learn the D and still has some gas in the tank (judgeing from last years stats) and we did lose a safety for the year.
If we can get him without overpaying we should bring him in and give him a few weeks to learn the playbook which will allow us to get a look at Doughty and to see if the secondary improves with the return of Springs. If it does, at the worst we end up with a seasoned backup. Ask yourself what happens if we have an injury to another safety?

Getting back Shawn Springs is going to help the secondary. Signing Troy Vincent would be a big improvement also. As long as it doesn't put the Skins in salaray cap hell.

uh oh, not the salary cap hell thing again.
I am usually one who wants to stay away from these players released by other teams. But, with the uncertainty of springs, the way Arch struggles and Reed still learing, I'd say Vincent is definatly worth the little bit of cash we would have to give up for 10 games. He is due the money from the bills, not who signs him. we owe him what ever prorated portion of OUR offer. He could be a quality pick up, being from buffalo and could step in with our D since he played with Gray last year.
GO GET HIM DANNY!!

i say bring him in. he could easily fill preiolous cover safety spot. at one time was a pretty decent corner.

why is everyone here in a panic? we lost just ONE game? everyone needs to calm down alittle bit
washington has lost 3 games.
hell, if we can get him cheap, bring him in!
In all seriousness, why is he available?

sign him to a one year deal for less than $1 million
if he gets hurt again, just cut him or put him on IR
we need to replace prioleau for this year...we have nothing to lose by signing him

yeah, was TV there in 03 when GW coached the bills? If so he could step right in, unless he has lavar's study habits.
