He is smart enough to learn the D and still has some gas in the tank (judgeing from last years stats) and we did lose a safety for the year. If we can get him without overpaying we should bring him in and give him a few weeks to learn the playbook which will allow us to get a look at Doughty and to see if the secondary improves with the return of Springs. If it does, at the worst we end up with a seasoned backup. I am usually one who wants to stay away from these players released by other teams. But, with the uncertainty of springs, the way Arch struggles and Reed still learing, I'd say Vincent is definatly worth the little bit of cash we would have to give up for 10 games. He is due the money from the bills, not who signs him. we owe him what ever prorated portion of OUR offer. He could be a quality pick up, being from buffalo and could step in with our D since he played with Gray last year. If so he could step right in, unless he has lavar's study habits.
