Regardless, shockey is a terrible team player for his statements. He didn't play a perfect game, and hasn't played close to his potential the past few seasons. To question the coach in public is just bad character and the team will hurt for that.

I hate the Giants. Maybe because three ex-Skins play for them now. I don't know, but I'm glad the Giants and LaVar have each other right now.
There's at least four, if you count the Hasselbeck with hair and a hot wife. He's the one on the sidelines with a clip board.

Well in that case I hate all four of them.

Funny how people harp on the Skins for overly paying FAs and bad roster moves - look at the Giants. They let Griesen (sp) go, then turn around and sign two injury prone linebackers. They have two big ass cry babies in Plax (who got benched yesterday) and Shockey.

With the exception of AP, which ex-Skin do we back? Add to that, their secondary which played like swiss cheese yesterday.

He takes douchebagery to a new level.

Here here. He's ghastly. He's convinced himself that he's a HOFer when the truth is that whatever minor success that club has had was all because of Tiki. They need to look to Tiki and Pierce to be their leaders and tell Shockey and Burress to shut the eff up. They won't though, and their season will be a roller coaster as a result. Emotionally unstable from Coughlin on down.

Oh get of you high horses fellas, Portis said the same thing last year about our coaching staff when we got blasted by the Giants. Granted, Shockey is an ass and whines most of the time but the things he said were true if you watched the game from yesterday. They got out coached, period. And in my book saying your team got out-coached and wasn't prepared is A-OK. And you know what? I wouldn't be surprised if the Giant coaches start working harder due to Shockey's comments. Gibbs and company certainly did when Portis called them out last year.

Exactly, I said here in august that their new secondary would have problems & that they remind me of the 2000 skins. They might pull it together, but its not a great team. Right now the iggles are the most stable in the div., eventhough they lost to ny.
How long before lavar says something about the coaches?

Interesting MSNBC Article:

Opinion: Shockey right about Coughlin - NFL - MSNBC.com (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15001146/)

It includes the following quote:

Arrington, who has been largely ineffective, says that for the first time in his linebacking career he is not trying to make the big play unless he is almost certain of his success. Basically, he is afraid to desert his post. “I’m picking my spots,” he said. "I've put it in the bag."

Three points here:

1. It must really suck to be GiantsFan today. I love it.
2. Both Shockey and Arrington are showing no commitment to the team with their attitudes and public statements.
3. TC has lost this team. The same was true in Jacksonville -- he just managed to do it more quickly in NY.

This sort of public whining has become standard for the vagiants. It was extremely satisfying to see them get humiliated yesterday, after having to put up with the Eli as God acolades in the NYC press.

Sure, Saden, all teams have times when folks complain. But I hate these guys, so I am happy to judge them by a biased standard. This isn't something "fair and balanced," but something explicitly ANTI-GIANT! ;)

Vagiants- I like that.

Ohh, so sweet it is watching cry baby shockey turn red on the sideline. Wasnt it the Seahawk game last year he was in front of the camera waving and laughing as his team was kicking and missing the winning the FG and then with the camera on him he realizes the giants just lost the game.

my point is that I like the turmoil, the ruckus. no high horse, just enjoying the VAgiant pain.
