So, where's all the unrelenting optimism now?
The Season Is OverArtMonkDrillz 10-15-2006, 08:03 PM So, where's all the unrelenting optimism now? RedskinRat 10-15-2006, 08:07 PM Are you fucking kidding me? What makes you think Jason Campbell would do any better when the time of possession is almost 2 to 1 in the other teams favor???????? Do I think Campbell should play, yes, but to think he could go 8-2 when our defense can't stop anyone and our team has ZERO heart is just a dream. I believe that he'd give our D more more of a rest than 'Mr. 3-and-Out' does. All Brunell had to do was put together sustained drives, he couldn't. JC also gives us hope which I don't believe the D feels Brunell does. SouperMeister 10-15-2006, 08:09 PM At least the team remembered their helmets and equipment. Has anyone seen the movie "PURE LUCK" with D.Glover/M.Short??? Is Ethan Albright the real portayal of this? Why has God forsaken the Skins? What did they do? Maybe Snyder bought the team with Bloodmoney, I dunno. God hasn't forsaken the Skins - The Danny and Gibbs himself have done the trick themselves by forsaking the draft in favor of brining in veterans. We let good core Redskins like Pierce, Smoot, and Clark walk, then overpay guys like Archuletta and Andre Carter. Many of the players we've acquired for draft picks either aren't playing or aren't being fully utilized - Campbell, Duckett, McIntosh, Lloyd. Just wait til next draft when we only have 1 pick in the first four rounds. I've said it many times: Is this any way to build a consistent winner? theJBexperience 10-15-2006, 08:12 PM Well, at least we'll have a high first round pick next draft. Who should we draft? ArtMonkDrillz 10-15-2006, 08:12 PM Do we still have our first round pick for the '07 draft? MightyJoeGibbs 10-15-2006, 08:14 PM So, where's all the unrelenting optimism now? Thats Matty's area, I tell the people the truth. Ohh, if your looking for optimism its with our rivals. SouperMeister 10-15-2006, 08:17 PM Do we still have our first round pick for the '07 draft? Yes we have our 1st, but we traded our 2nd to move up and get McIntosh (wasting away on special teams), our 3rd for Duckett (not playing at all), and our 4th for Lloyd (who is painfully underutilized in the offense). mooby 10-15-2006, 08:23 PM I hate to break this to some of you, and it's probably gonna make most of you pissed off even more, but if we finish with a worse record than Denver they switch first round picks with us, so basically we're gonna get a late first rounder. It was part of the Duckett trade. MightyJoeGibbs 10-15-2006, 08:25 PM So, where's all the unrelenting optimism now? I have your optimism: The Redskins are tied for 4th in the league....for next years #1 pick 1.Oak 0-5 2.Det 1-5, Tenn 3. TB 1-4, AZ,Miami, Clev,G.B. 4. Skins 2-4, Buff, SF Kick Ass... too bad our needs should still be a QB to be safe(Mark should be deported and Todd released to pursue his Sears boys clothing modeling career), DT-with size( Salavae is pathetic), CB-who is healthy/fresh, OL-for security, and a TE to block. And a Kicker or anyone to replace Hall simply for the satisfaction to tell him get the hell out of here. MightyJoeGibbs 10-15-2006, 08:27 PM I hate to break this to some of you, and it's probably gonna make most of you pissed off even more, but if we finish with a worse record than Denver they switch first round picks with us, so basically we're gonna get a late first rounder. It was part of the Duckett trade. F'N brilliant and typical. I can't take this shit. 15 years of disapointment and no end in site. I FEEL LIKE A FUCKING FOOTBALL PWO FAN, I WILL TALK.. JUST STOP BEATING AND TORTURING ME. |
