TimesDispatch.com | Gibbs says Skins need to take break (http://www.timesdispatch.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=RTD%2FMGArticle%2FRTD_BasicArti cle&%09s=1045855935462&c=MGArticle&cid=1149191310876&path=%21sports%21redskins)
The way Joe Gibbs sees it, the thing the Washington Redskins need more than anything, aside from winning a football game, is getting away from the game of football.
The Redskins (2-5) have a bye this week. Gibbs, the Redskins' coach, wants to use part of this time to address some of his team's shortcomings.
Then, he wants the players to take some time off.
The Redskins will practice today and tomorrow. Then, they will not be required to return to Redskin Park until Monday.
Before they go, though, Gibbs wants to go over a few details concerning offense and defense.
Today's practice will be spent working on the passing game, how to make it better on offense and how to stop it on defense.
Tomorrow, the same approach will be taken toward the running game.
I've been watching them this season and I think they've already spent enough time away from what I'd call Football.
