Yes, Ive been to games there, and Ive seen WVU fans accost an old man who had a VT sweatshirt on. Ive seen them throw beer at people whose only sin was standing up to cheer. Here's a news flash especially to a Mountaineer fan: Fans should be respectful of other fans. You expect a little ribbing, but to fear for your safety just because you root for another team is ridiculous! WVU fans are like Philly fans, absolutely NO CLASS. If you don't believe do this: At your next WVU game, wear the opposing team's sweatshirt for 1 hour, and see how you are treated.

now why would i do that?

to compare us to philly fans is crazy. we dont throw pennies at you. if you are stupid enough(or brave enough) to wear the other teams colors than you deserve to get booed. its all in good fun. if you take what we say personally, we are sorry. dont take it personal

Man, are you not listening to me? Im not talking about "booing", Im talking about beer throwing and fighting. Im talking about your team's fans who threw a trashcan at a Miami coach and injured him. Im talking about punks who come up to people with other teams sweatshirts on and tell them they want to fight them, or call their girlfriends "cunts". All you have to do is escort a friend or family member who roots for the other team to the game and witness how they are treated it will shock you. Many of the WVU fans are an embarassment to this state.

Give them a break, there's not much excitement up in those mountains.

Fights at football games are all they have. :D

Rutgers is respectible for the first time EVER. Wow. 28-25 over Louisville!

Ok...I can now feel better about my ORIGINAL pick at the beginning of the season: Michigan vs. Auburn for the title.
