GREAT call on Lamar. if he hadn't knifed through like that for the safety, we would've played the whole game defeated like we were on that 4th down stop just before.

did it look like the refs stopped the play alittle early on that safety?

tackling was better. cooley got pushed back a LOT while blocking, but at least he was in the gameplan today. el's been pretty solid too.

Holdman played well.
I thought the whole defense looked much better today even in giving up some yards to a good offense.

Agreed. I incorrectly predicted that Carter would have a sack. The pass rush seemed to be improved, but it was not good. Our defense was getting pressure, but it was usually a second late. Carter was drawing some doubles, but he was pretty much a non-factor and the Cowboys were running at him a lot.

The secondary was better, but still has a ways to go. The corners and safeties didn't give up as many 20+ yard plays as they have recently.

To hold Dallas to 19 points made me happy.
