Is anyone watching Indy vs. New England. I am shocked to see the Patriot fans booing Adam Vinateri. This guy won them 2 Super Bowls and they are gonna boo him? I know he is on the enemy team but man, show the hero of your franchise over the past few years some respect.
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!

What else would expect from those classless assholes up there? Boston fans are the worst, where were all those pats' fans when the team sucked?

That is unfortunate. If you want to boo someone, boo the FO for not giving him a competitive offer.

It's tough to criticize New England's front office. However, I don't understand why they didn't retain SOME of their free agents. It's not like they're hard up against the cap - they've got more room than just about everyone. If I were Tom Brady, I'd be pissed. It seems like the front office expects too much of him.

I guess they view like Johny Damon going to the Yankees, but its not on that level.

You can't argue with their track record, but you should have kept Adam V for symbollic reasons if nothing else. It's not like, as you point out, they need the cap space.

They should be booing Brady.....he's thrown 3 picks. He's killing my lead in fantasy football. I know he's one of the greatest QBs in the history of the league, but I'm really pissed that he's blowing my 20 point lead.

Being born and raised in Boston, I can say that the fans can be fantical about their teams. I am a Sox / Bruins / Celtics fan, but never liked the Patriots. Mainly because they sucked for years, and they seriously got no recognition in the papers (all of them). I became a Skins fan in 79 due to lack of options (although I feel compelled to remind you that the Skins are from Boston).
That being said, my brother is a HUGE patriots fan (was a cowboys fan until very early 90's.) He was upset about Vinitieri being allowed to go. He agreed with everyone before him leaving because they asked for too much money...but the Patriot brass should have ponied up for the 500k or so. Chump change in the NFL world.
In Boston, these people / athletes become part of your family. You feel somewhat betrayed if they leave. Like a cheating spouse. Being a massive Sox fan (not quite like fever pitch, but close) I now hate Damon. Pedro was disrespected by the orginization, but Damon didn't even allow the Sox to negotiate. You have to look into WHY they are booed. Clemens wasn't, Pedro really wasn't. Knowing this, the majority of the Patriot fans feel Viniteiri should have accepted that lower salary because everyone else had in the past. Yet, there was only a small minority that booed him.
let's keep our focus here and realize that Philly fans are the worst in the world. Boston fans have been some of the most knowledgable and dedicated in the world...and I don't care what anyone says, the Skins have THE best fans in the world.

Okay. Well now I want to boo Vinateri forever. The over/under for the game was 48 1/2. And this guy misses two field goals. I bet the over and they freakin' end the game with 47 points scored. Damn Vinateri and his shankness.
