This is definitely a fight I won't win, but at least I'm not ashamed. :D
Rumsfeld stepping downTheMalcolmConnection 11-08-2006, 04:09 PM This is definitely a fight I won't win, but at least I'm not ashamed. :D RobH4413 11-08-2006, 04:14 PM you kidding? 6 1/2 years isn't fickle. you really going to say Rumsfeld didn't have a chance? i hate these near-sighted, 'efficiency expert', bean-counters who just look at math and have never had first hand experience being in charge of so many people's lives. people like McNamara and Rumsfeld. i think thats why i generally shudder at people who just go by things like 'stats'. I think your taking me out of context... I'm not defended Rumsfeld in any way... In-fact, I was just making a direct stab at alot of the recent (pull out of IRAQ now!) trend amoung popular opinion. I think that we need to have a strategy other than cut and run, and I was calling popular opinion fickle because it is.... Thats why the supreme court is in for life, so pop. politics isn't involved... even though it tends to creep its way in there every so often. GhettoDogAllStars 11-08-2006, 04:20 PM She's not THAT bad. AND she has huge breasts. You're right. She's not that bad. I do it, just to say I did. ArtMonkDrillz 11-08-2006, 04:26 PM Can anyone name a Politician who looks after the 'common, ordinary folk'. Sadly the whole political scene seems to poison the people involved. Am I just that cynical? It's like that South Park episode with the vote for the school mascot. It was replayed last night, of course. The vote was between a Turd Sandwich or a Giant Douche. The funniest line had to be, "...it's always between a turd sandwich or a giant douche because they're the only suck-ups who can make it that far in politics." poop SmootSmack 11-08-2006, 04:34 PM Politics suck....nobody is ever happy regardless of who is in power. So true. It'll all change when Matty and I start running thangs in '08!! RedskinRat 11-08-2006, 04:56 PM So true. It'll all change when Matty and I start running thangs in '08!! On the 'Peace and Love' ticket? MTK 11-08-2006, 05:13 PM On the 'Peace and Love' ticket? Nope, the 'Ban and move' ticket ;) saden1 11-08-2006, 05:18 PM I'd hit Monica too...hit and run style of course but hit nonetheless. She wasn't that chubby when Clinton was hitting her mouth. Anyone hear about the other big election news? The first Muslim (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/11/08/AR2006110800660.html) ever was elected to congress. It's about time they participate I say. illdefined 11-08-2006, 05:39 PM I think your taking me out of context... I'm not defended Rumsfeld in any way... RedskinRat 11-08-2006, 09:05 PM Nope, the 'Ban and move' ticket ;) Can't fight City Hall, or the Admin/Mod combo....:soapbox: | |
