nice article. I've also heard that JC has tended to ignore fans here (doesn't sign many autographs at all, doesn't spend much time talking to fans, etc), and all of his interviews contain about 32,000 cliches per minute (it's shocking, really).

whatever, as a senior at auburn and in the preseason, his fundamentals looked very sound, and with experience, hopefully his decision making improves. he's not micheal vick or peyton manning, but hopefully he's better than what we've had for the past 15 years.

I do know he's a hard worker though. immediately after he was drafted he came in a week early to start learning the playbook, and he's putting in a lot of extra film tudy time for this game. hopefully that helps.

I don't hate him, I'm just pissy because to me this means our season is over. Putting JC in now leaves us NO chance of getting into the playoffs and those of you that think differently are dreaming.

First off this season was over long ago, basically when the Skins went belly-up against the Titans. No playoff calibre team would loose a game like that at home. This season is about next year, and figuring out who is going to make a contribution and figuring out who the core 'Redskins' are. Is it painful and frustrating to go through, yes, but we are what are record is, and right now that is not a good team.

If Campbell can give the offense something, just some sense of life, the switch is worth being made. At this stage we have no single aspect of our team that is a strength. Or kicking game, both punting, place kicking, and kickoffs is mediocre to suspect, the defence is just NOT good, the offense has been erratic.

I have read several mentions that Saunder's 700 page playbook is predicated on being able to pass deep. If the young gun-slinger can make that happen, just maybe the offense will show some signs of life. In my mind these remaining eight games are about what type of team will we have next year, and what areas are going to have to be addressed. If the offense can show signs of life then we focus on the defence, right now there are just too many things 'wrong' with this team to fix in even one offseason.

It probably won't happen but I think we need to take a page from the Tuna's playbook and draft all defencive players next year. Trade down even to get more picks.
