You know, those "special" people who will try to do and say anything to retain you as a customer even when you tell them clearly and concisely that you want to cancel and there's nothing they can do to retain you as a customer. Even worse, they'll put you on hold in the hopes that you'll hangup. 10 min on hold just to cancel my service....WTF?
No, I don't want two months free service. No, don't connect me with your support group. No, don't send a technician over. Just cancel my service bitch!

Repeat over and over: "cancel my service, cancel my service....". If they say anything other than "okay your service is cancelled" then interrupt them with more "cancel my service" chants. The key is to be obnoxious.

I called AOL about 3 months ago to cancel my service and they transfered me to two different "supervisors" to help me with my problem. When I finally got rude with them and told them to just "cancel my fucking service" I found out that I had been paying $24.95 a month for the previous 3 months when they had dropped the price of the service to $9.95. The thing was they never bothered to tell me they changed prices and if I had not called to cancel I would have been still paying the higher fee. F-em!
