Hate to be on the fence with this one, but I think Brees and LT should be Co-MVPs. You could make a great arguement for each, so go with both. You know like the year Manning and McNair won it.

They both mean so much to their respective teams, and neither team would be where they are without them. They are also both quality people who mean much to the NFL. I wish the league had 2000 of them. Beemnseven 12-17-2006, 07:26 AM I don't agree at all. He has a healthy Deuce McAllister, Reggie Bush, ROY Marques Colston, Joe Horn is still a threat, and a bevy of other WRs. Sean Payton came into that team and injected a real NFL offensive scheme. Brees has been great, but it's not like he doesn't have crazy weapons. But what would all those weapons be worth if there wasn't anyone as valuable as Brees throwing them the ball? By the way, I don't really care. I just like disagreeing with you. :D Redskin 12-17-2006, 08:53 AM What records has Brees broken? Thats while LT will get MVP dmek25 12-17-2006, 11:59 AM Hate to be on the fence with this one, but I think Brees and LT should be Co-MVPs. You could make a great arguement for each, so go with both. Another 170+ and 2 TD night for him. It's just crazy. Redskin 12-17-2006, 11:16 PM NOT BREES =p DGreen28 12-18-2006, 09:41 AM After last night LT hands down. onlydarksets 12-18-2006, 10:19 AM Yeah, he tacked on another 20 yards after my post. He's just playing on a completely different level right now. Incidentally, there was an interesting article in the Post about LT's trainer, who also helped Brees recover from his shoulder injury. Apparently these two are superhuman. Tomlinson and Brees: It's All Working Out - washingtonpost.com (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/12/16/AR2006121600987.html) Monkeydad 12-18-2006, 11:09 AM Tomlinson easily. |
