I don't think it'd matter, from what i've read, his blocking is average, and there's a lot of TEs on our list that are average blockers that don't get arrested. I don't really think its a big deal, but Gibbs could really use it to prove a point. NASCAR often uses a couple small infractions with huge penalties right after they change a rule, and the method tends to work very well.
Ware picked a good weekend to screw up - with Tony Stewart doing what he did. I bet he's hoping JG is thinking more about #20 than him.

lol, yeah, i don't think they'll suspend #20 though, since their afraid of pissing off home depot (a great source of easy money ;) )
its weird gibbs is completely alright with tony punching people left and right though... guess good drivers are hard to find... and at $5mill he can't really back out either.
It is Ware's first offense since joining the Redskins in 2003, but it's not the first time he was arrested. As a junior at the University of Washington in December 2001, he received a one-year suspended sentence and 240 hours of community service after pleading guilty to fourth-degree misdemeanor assault.
Ware was originally charged with third-degree assault, a felony, after striking a university police officer who was trying to break up a fight. He pleaded innocent in King County Superior Court at the time, then pleaded guilty after the charge was reduced to a misdemeanor.
Ware was suspended for the remainder of the 2001 season, missing Washington's trip to the Holiday Bowl, but he was reinstated his senior year and caught 42 passes for 463 yards in 2002.

I also remember Ware fighting in training camp last year with someone. Trotter or Armstead maybe...?

Yes. Ware was a real hot-head last year, and I was actually kind of surprised they kept him after he was involved in at least two big scuffles. It's not like he's a stud TE or anything. He's very average as a receiver and a blocker.
Regardless of this most recent incident, I think Ware was going to have a very difficult time making the squad anyway. Now he's on verrrry thin ice...

I'm glad JG & Co chose to make an example out of him.
